The goal of this website is to share my discoveries, short tips, and write short tutorials. I will use this blog as a memento too, because I have the memory of a goldfish.

The subjects covered here are mainly Web development and technologies, the Internet, Linux (virtualization, networking, self hosting, Cloud) and other geeky stuffs.

Who am I?

I am a Belgian guy, 24 years old, studying to get a Master in Aerospace Engineering.

I have been very passionated by computers since my childhood, I started to get an interest in Web when I was about 13 years old.
I learnt HTML, it was XHTML 1.0 Strit at that time (yup, it does not make us younger), CSS, Javascript, a few JS libraries and frameworks, a bit of webdesign.
Then, I moved from front-end to back-end when I learnt PHP, because it was one of the most popular choice at this time. I was not interested in other languages like Java or ASP.net.
But I have always like Python, so learning Django was not a question, and then, NodeJS arrived with ExpressJS.
More recently, I got a new interest in front-end with frameworks like VueJS and React.

Simultaneously, as I progressed in Web, I started to use Linux as my everyday operating system and, because I already had a feet in the Internet world espacially in back-end things, it did not take long until I got a lot of general knowledge in Linux management and Internet networking / infrastructures.
Now, I enjoy setup servers, and wait until they break to fix them and understand why it happened (and avoid doing the same error again, in other automatic deployments).
